About this time a year ago, I shared my review of the MCT Sequential Two S200, a new (and dare I say, more classical) execution on the independent brand’s signature sequential prismatic time display system. Then earlier this year, MCT came out with three new striking colors that bring back the edgier look you’d expect from a brand making avant-garde, atypical watches.
Featuring a black DLC-treated white gold case, the watch features either bright orange, lime-green or blue painted hours on the prisms that add a bold contrast to the all-black case and dial/movement.
The movement’s mainplate and bridges are also done in black, my guess is a black rhodium galvanic treatment. In fact this is the same version of the in-house movement found in the rose gold Sequential Two S200 from my original review, though that one was still missing a bridge or two and the engravings when I photographed it.
While I’m not 100% sure on the official prices, I imagine these new MCT Sequential Two S200 are priced the same or close enough to the non-DLC versions, which retail for $98’500 USD.
